Job Summary:
Executes the process of sending and receiving digital studies (including, but not limited to: Mammography, CT, MRI, X-ray, Nuclear Medicine, PET-CT, Ultrasound and Bone Density). Responsible for handling and transferring electronic files, CDs, and documents retrieved from internal and external Health Care facilities, including the centralized film library as requested by KFHPW radiologists and/or the patients physician.

Basic Qualifications:
Experience
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in hospital, medical office, or clinic setting.
  • Per the National Agreement, current KP Coalition employees have this experience requirement waived.
Education
  • High School Diploma OR General Education Development (GED) required.
License, Certification, Registration

Additional Requirements:
  • Advanced PC experience in an MS Windows environment, 10-key and key boarding skills (min 35wpm).
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of basic medical terminology.
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast pace environment.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills.
