We believe that our shared values of integrity, respect, and responsibility are essential to accomplish our mission to develop each student’s potential to become an intellectually courageous, socially responsible citizen of the world.   Specific Responsibilities Supports the Mock Trial Head Coach with administrative tasks and program assistance throughout the Mock Trial practice and competitive season (September – March typically) Organizes, distributes, and collects forms needed for tournament participation and team enrollment Answers email inquiries from families and students about the Mock Trial program that aligns with Head Coach Organizes and arranges logistical details including transportation, food and hotel accommodations for the overnight regional and state tournaments Chaperones the overnight regional and state tournaments with the Head Coach and participating team members Attends Sunday practice at least 1x/month to understand program and know students, time may be negotiated with Head Coach Assists Head Coach in other ways needed to keep program and operations running smoothly Qualifications  Skills and Experience No legal or Mock Trial experience needed Strong written and verbal communication skills Solid organizational skills including collecting and tracking documents, meeting deadlines Ability to collaborate and assist   Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university required No legal or Mock Trial experience needed  Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills including collecting and tracking documents, meeting deadlines, and working with a sense of urgency  Experience organizing, arranging, and communicating logistic details    Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the students and program Ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds Ability to work and communicate well with all levels of faculty and staff Ability to work and communicate well with students and their parents Ability to maintain confidential information Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusivity Flexibility, maturity and a sense of humor Ability to work efficiently in a Microsoft Windows or Mac environment using Office, master common automated systems for record keeping, and learn new technology   Compensation $3,500 paid in seven installments, September through March.    This position is eligible for statutory benefits only.    If this sounds like you, we’d like to hear from you.
