Our client is one of the leading aviation industry is currently looking for Manager, Power Plant to be based in Sepang.

Key Accountability

1. Be accountable for safety, airworthiness, and in-servicereliability of the assigned specialisation

2. Provide technical leadership over assigned function and be able to provide expert direction to the team

3. Be the focal person and subject matter expert in the assigned function, able to competentlyand confidently represent MAB during engagements with national authorities, MAB senior leaders,and vendors

4. Be able to formulate vision for the future trajectory of theassigned function, taking into account evolving technical, regulatory, andbusiness considerations

5. Have a good level of commercial understanding in order to make judgements that optimisemaintenance cost against operational reliability, within the context of apremium service airline

6. Manage vendors to ensure service level agreements are adhered to and any performance matters are addressed in atimely manner

7. Manage all direct reports and ensureperformance is in-line with expectations for each grade and to ensure all other HR aspects relating to the team are proficiently and expediently managed

8. Maintain close working relationships with all key stakeholders and ensure a highlevel of service is provided to all internal and external (e.g. FTM) customers

9. Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time

10. Deputise for Senior Manager, Technical Services as required

11. In his/her absence, his/her duties will be assumed by Senior Executive Engineer, Technical Services

Requirements

· Degree in engineering from an internationally recognised university is essential

· 10 years of working experience, including minimum 5 years of Technical Services experience Aircraft maintenance engineer background is desirable
