Baptist Health is looking to add a Medical Assistant to our NEW Seven Pines Primary Care office located near Butler Boulevard and I295 east of the St. Johns Town Center in Jacksonville, FL. 

This is a Full-Time opportunity working from 8:00A-5:00P.

The ideal candidate will perform back office Medical Assistant duties, such as rooming patients, obtaining vitals, and assisting the provider. Bilingual-Spanish is a huge plus but not required.

Medical Assistant, Job Responsibilities:

• Provides medical assistance to physicians
• Obtains vital signs
• Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
• Maintains medical documentation
• Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
• Processes prescription requests and referrals

Experience Requirements:

• 2+ years Patient Care Experience
• Experience in Physician's office

Education & Credential Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED Required
• Associate of Arts/Science Preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Certified Medical Assistant Preferred
