GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Laser Operator is primarily responsible for operating and maintaining the laser system and performing the following essential duties and responsibilities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ● Maintain dust collector, scrap and slug removal, in addition to supporting grate maintenance, system dusting, degreasing and cleaning. ● Operate and/or schedule MSC/FSC line control software, manually move all components of MSC Controller and ready it for online operation. ● Control orientation, lens removal, maintenance and re-installation, nozzle maintenance and centering, focus, manually scrap cuts and cut condition adjustments. ● Overview My Shop, schedule nests, clean-up completed nests, tool parts, create nests and make manual adjustments to tooling and nests. ● Update GSS to Ncell, update Ncell to GSS, ERP overview and use. ● Collaborate with employees, customers and vendors to solve problems and make improvements. ● Unload trucks, receive material into inventory, load/unload material into storage, label material, load/unload tower and conduct raw material inventory. ● Use inspection tools to measure parts to customer specifications. ● Maintain efficiency and accuracy on jobs in a timely manner. ● Ability to operate forklift and hand truck for movement of parts and material to and from designated operations. ● Follow ISO procedures and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards ● Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. ● Regular, reliable on-site attendance is required. ● Perform other work-related duties as assigned by management.
