Job Details: Job Location: Nisbet Brower - Cincinnati, OH, Salary Range: $18.00 - $21.00Hourly, POSITION OVERVIEWThe Material Handler supports safe, accurate, and efficient warehouse operations by receiving, inspecting, storing, moving, and staging building materials and products. This position helps ensure materials are available for production and customer orders while maintaining inventory accuracy, an organized work area, and a strong commitment to safety.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Receive deliveries; inspect incoming materials and products for visible damage, quantity, and accuracy, and report discrepancies. Unload, move, store, and organize materials in designated warehouse or staging locations. Pick, prepare, and stage materials accurately for production orders, transfers, or outgoing shipments. Load and unload trucks using approved handling methods and equipment. Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other authorized material-handling equipment in accordance with training and company procedures. Support inventory accuracy through proper material identification, documentation, and inventory transactions. Conduct required equipment pre-use inspections; report defects and maintenance needs promptly. Maintain clean, orderly, and accessible work areas; identify and report unsafe conditions. Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and production team members to meet changing operational priorities. Perform other related duties as assigned.Qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE High school diploma or equivalent. Previous warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or material-handling experience preferred. Forklift and pallet jack experience preferred; must complete company-required training and authorization before operating equipment. Ability to read work instructions, identify materials, follow safety procedures, and maintain accurate records. Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems preferred. Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently, manage changing priorities, and perform the physical requirements of the role.
