Teacher is responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for children. This role includes planning and implementing engaging activities, maintaining supervision at all times, and supporting the physical, emotional, spiritual and social development of each child.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide active supervision of children at all times to ensure safety and well-beingÂ
- Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and daily activitiesÂ
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports learning and developmentÂ
- Maintain compliance with all licensing regulations and center policiesÂ
- Assist with feeding, diapering, toileting, and other basic care routinesÂ
- Prepare and serve meals and bottles according to established proceduresÂ
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary classroom environmentÂ
- Observe and document children’s development and communicate progress with familiesÂ
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkersÂ
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow all health and safety procedures
Requirements

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework preferred)Â
- Previous childcare experience preferredÂ
- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate practicesÂ
- Ability to meet state licensing requirements (background check, health screening, etc.)Â
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)Â
