AsĀ aĀ Human Resources Intern, you will gain meaningful experience of whatĀ it’sĀ like to be an HR Business Partner!Ā Ā This position will allow you toĀ impactĀ our business while learning about our company and culture.Ā Ā

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:Ā Ā 

  • Build meaningful partnerships with our manufacturing team/leadersĀ 

  • Investigate employee relations issues; including (but not limited to) researchingĀ possible outcomes/responses, making recommendations, and reviewing with key stakeholdersĀ 

  • Impact culture and engagement at our site through identification, coordination, and support of key events/activitiesĀ 

  • Conducting research and data analysis for various projectsĀ 

WHATĀ YOUĀ SHOULDĀ HAVE:Ā 

  • Enrollment in a related bachelor's degree program (Human Resources Management, Business Administration or similar).Ā Ā 

  • Graduating withinĀ 3Ā semesters or lessĀ 

  • Experience in Microsoft Office SuiteĀ 

  • PreviousĀ HR courseworkĀ completed.Ā 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ā 

  • PreviousĀ HR internship experience is preferred.Ā 

  • Involvement in student SHRM or similar is preferred.Ā

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Greenheck Group takes pride in providing competitive pay.  The starting base pay range for this position is $20.00/hour - $25.00/hour and is based on position and academic year.Ā 

In addition to competitive pay, co-ops receive paid time off for company-observed holidays and are eligible forĀ additionalĀ financial support through a housing allowance or sign-on bonus.Ā

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment, such as a computer and phone. Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Substantial motions of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The person is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data, and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.Ā Occasional mobility required to attend in-person meetings and complete various office tasks.
