Wieland is hiring a Manufacturing Operator. The Manufacturing Operator will operate the shred/sort equipment to ensure manufacturing lines run without interruptions. This role is located in Shelbyville, KY and will be fully on-site.

Starting Pay: $23.50/hr

Schedule: Rotating 12-hour Shifts

Day Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM

Pay Schedule: Weekly

Responsibilities

Manufacturing Operator Responsibilities:

Runs HMI to ensure the manufacturing line runs without interruptions.
Safely operates mobile plant and equipment such as forklifts, yard sweepers, front-end loaders, skid steer, and Sengenbogen per applicable procedure.
Directing Shred/Sort technicians to empty hoppers as needed
Load infeed hoppers.
Print/apply rejected box labels and change out as needed.
Check/Empty conveyor cleanout tubs.
Take empty boxes/skids out.
All other duties assigned during shifts

Manufacturing Operator Qualifications:

3 + years of manufacturing experience
3 + years of forklift experience
1 + years of heavy equipment operation
Ability to calculate basic math to verify weights
Ability to work rotating shifts
High School Diploma
Positive Attitude
Excellent attendance
