The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the overall safety, organization, accuracy, efficiency, and performance of warehouse and delivery operations. This position provides hands-on leadership for inventory management, receiving, storage, order fulfillment, delivery operations, vehicle safety, employee development, and customer service. The Warehouse Manager is expected to work alongside the team when needed, including picking and staging orders, operating a forklift, loading and unloading trucks and containers, and completing deliveries. The Warehouse Manager is expected to lead by example, actively participate in daily operations, take ownership of warehouse responsibilities, and foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.

· Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping, customer pickups, and deliveries.

· Ensure warehouse operations are safe, organized, accurate, and efficient.

· Continuously identify and implement process improvements.

· Maintain accurate inventory records and warehouse locations.

· Oversee receiving, put-away, cycle counts, and physical inventories.

· Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.

· Coordinate inventory activities with sales, office staff, purchasing, and management.

· Establish and maintain warehouse location control systems.

· Ensure products, warehouse locations, pallet positions, and storage areas are clearly identified and labeled.

· Maintain warehouse signage, safety markings, and visual management systems.

· Optimize warehouse organization and space utilization to improve efficiency and reduce errors.

· Maintain a clean, orderly, sanitary, and professional warehouse environment; ensure products are handled, stored, and protected appropriately.

· Ensure customer orders are accurately picked, loaded, delivered, and verified.

· Ensure deliveries are made safely and on time to the correct customer and location, including assigned routes serving Charleston, Wilmington, Myrtle Beach, and other company service areas.

· Implement and enforce delivery verification procedures.

Plan and adjust delivery routes for Charleston, Wilmington, Myrtle Beach, and other assigned areas to support safe, efficient, and timely deliveries.

· Monitor delivery performance, investigate delivery errors, and implement corrective actions.

· Promote excellent customer service and professionalism during all customer interactions.

· Promote a culture of safety throughout warehouse and delivery operations.

· Ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA requirements.

· Conduct routine warehouse, vehicle, and equipment inspections.

· Monitor driver safety performance and vehicle condition; personally operate company trucks for deliveries when needed and authorized.

· Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and implement corrective actions.

· Maintain a goal of zero preventable vehicle accidents and workplace injuries.

· Lead, train, coach, and develop warehouse and delivery personnel.

· Establish clear performance expectations and accountability standards.

· Promote teamwork, mutual support, accountability, and open communication.

· Foster a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment.

· Improve employee engagement, development, and retention through effective leadership and communication.

· Coordinate daily activities with Operations Manager, Sales Team, Office Staff, Purchasing, and Management.

· Ensure timely communication regarding inventory issues, customer concerns, delivery delays, staffing issues, and operational challenges.

· Lead by example through active participation in daily warehouse and delivery operations, working alongside employees as operational needs require.

· Personally assist with picking and staging orders, receiving and putting away products, unloading containers, loading trucks, inventory projects, deliveries, and customer pickups as needed. Operate forklifts safely and proficiently in accordance with training and company procedures.

· Take ownership of warehouse-related work and follow operational issues through to resolution. Provide practical support to the Sales Team, Office Staff, and other departments when needed, while maintaining warehouse and delivery responsibilities.

· When urgent operational needs arise, respond promptly, communicate clearly, and provide dependable support so the company can rely on the Warehouse Manager. Perform other related duties as assigned.

· Minimum 3-5 years of warehouse, logistics, distribution, or inventory management experience.

· Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
· Demonstrated ability to operate a forklift safely and proficiently; required.

· Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record; ability to operate company delivery vehicles as assigned. Any vehicle-specific license or endorsement must be held when required by applicable law.

· Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

· Proficiency with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office.

· Regularly lift, move, push, and pull products weighing up to 75 pounds.

· Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and perform physical work throughout the workday.

· Ability to work in warehouse and outdoor environments under varying weather conditions.

Reports directly to the Operations Manager.

Works closely with the General Manager and President on inventory, safety, staffing, customer service, and operational matters.
