路 Preparation of Trial balance & year-end financial pack.
路 Preparation of operational cashflows.
路 Management of debtors and creditors.
路 Maintenance of Cash book records and bank reconciliations.
路 Accurate maintenance of Intercompany ledger records.
路 General Ledger Reconciliation.
路 Attends to Internal and external financial Audits.
路 Ensure compliance with all statutory provisions (VAT, PAYE, WTAX, EMA).
路 Maintenance of the Asset Register.
路 Development and coaching of subordinates.
Requirements
路 A first Degree in Accounting or equivalent from a reputable tertiary institution plus at least 3 years post-qualification experience in a mining or manufacturing environment.
路 A professional accounting qualification like CIMA and ACCA is a distinct advantage.
路 Working knowledge of IFRS and International Accounting Standards (IAS) is a must.
路 Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and an ERP system, preferably SAP (Financial Accounting Module), will be an added advantage.
路 Knowledge of payroll management.
路 Working knowledge of safety management system(s) applicable to mining operations/companies, preferably the NOSA and/or ISO Systems.
路 Ability to communicate at all levels, both verbally and written.
路 Clean Class 4 Driver's Licence.
