Sante is seeking a Consulting Psychiatrist to provide clinical oversight and supervision to the prescribing staff for the First Episode P0sychosis Program (FEP). 


What You Will Do:

  • Provide clinical supervision and oversight of nurse practitioners who provide direct care to FEP participants
  • Case review and Consultation
  • Collaboration with program director
  • Review of documentation by prescribing staff
  • Support continuous quality improvement and fidelity to Coordinated Specialty Care principles
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and complete clinical documentation in accordance with all company/agency, state, federal, Medicaid, and accreditation standards.
  • Check work e-mail according to agency protocol
  • Participate in and complete all required training courses
  • Other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Clinical supervision of prescribing staff as well as fidelity to model.

 

What Is Needed:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD); Board Certified in Psychiatry and active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Maryland.
  • Expertise in psychiatric diagnosis and psychopharmacology.
  • Experience evaluating and treating serious mental illness. Experience treating first episode psychosis preferred.

 

What You’ll Get:

  • Pay: $140.00 per hour working 10 to 15 hours per month
