$31/hr starting pay | Overtime after 40 | Local fuel hauling, home every night | 401(k) match from day oneÂ
Looking for a local CDL Class A driving job with strong earning potential and no nights away from home?Â
M.A. Wolf Trucking, part of E.H. Wolf & Sons, is a family-owned fuel and lubricants distributor serving Wisconsin since 1941. We're growing and looking for safety-focused CDL-A fuel transport drivers to join our team based out of Slinger, Wisconsin.Â
This isn't an over-the-road trucking job. You'll haul gasoline and diesel on local routes, operate reliable, well-maintained equipment, and be home at the end of every shift.Â
The hours are there if you're ready to put in the work. Most weeks run 65–70 hours, with overtime after 40. That means strong earning potential without spending nights on the road.Â
No OTR. No overnight stays. No mega-carrier runaround.Â
And if you're an experienced Class A driver who's never hauled fuel, don't count yourself out. Your driving experience has value here. Tanker and hazmat endorsements are preferred, and company assistance may be available to help qualified drivers obtain them.Â
What You'll DoÂ
- Drive a Class A tractor-trailer fuel transport on local routes out of Slinger, WIÂ
- Load gasoline and diesel at fuel terminalsÂ
- Deliver bulk fuel to gas stations, farms, construction companies, municipalities, and commercial customersÂ
- Complete an average of 3–6 fuel loads per dayÂ
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip DVIR inspections and maintain accurate ELD logs and delivery paperworkÂ
- Follow DOT, FMCSA, and hazmat safety regulations at every stopÂ
- Represent Wolf with safe, dependable, and professional serviceÂ
ScheduleÂ
- Local fuel transport routes, home dailyÂ
- Monday–Friday with rotating weekend workÂ
- Typically 65–70 hours per weekÂ
- Overtime paid after 40 hoursÂ
Longer workweeks. Strong earning potential. Your own bed every night.Â
Pay & BenefitsÂ
- $31/hour starting payÂ
- Overtime after 40 hoursÂ
- Monthly safety bonusesÂ
- 100% 401(k) company match up to 5%, starting day oneÂ
- Health, dental, and vision insuranceÂ
- PTO after 60 days, with up to 3 weeks in your first yearÂ
- 6 paid holidaysÂ
- Safety boot and prescription safety glasses reimbursementÂ
- Company-issued uniformsÂ
- Reliable, well-maintained equipmentÂ
Requirements
Required:Â
- Valid CDL Class AÂ
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screenÂ
- Clean MVR and strong safety recordÂ
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, handle fuel hoses, and climb in and out of equipmentÂ
- Ability to work safely outdoors in Wisconsin weatherÂ
Preferred, not required (we'll help the right driver get there):Â
- Tanker (N) and Hazmat (H) endorsements, or combined X endorsementÂ
- TWIC cardÂ
- 1+ year of Class A commercial driving experienceÂ
- Fuel transport, tanker truck, or bulk liquid hauling experienceÂ
Don't have your endorsements or TWIC card yet? Company assistance may be available for qualified drivers.Â
Why Drive With Wolf?Â
- Family-owned, not a mega carrier. We've been serving Wisconsin since 1941, and our drivers are more than a truck number.Â
- Home every night. Earn a solid paycheck without living on the road.Â
- Hours that add up. Consistent work with overtime after 40 hours.Â
- Safety comes first. Your commitment to safe driving is recognized and rewarded through monthly bonuses.Â
- Equipment you can count on. Well-maintained trucks backed by our in-house maintenance team.Â
- A team that has your back. Respectful leadership, honest communication, and people who take pride in doing the job right.Â
