Deli - Part-Time - NO NIGHTS OR WEEKENDS (Tues-Thurs)

Creative Dining Services is looking for a Deli Associate for our location at MRI Software in Solon, OH. The Deli Associate works within the Dining Services Department to ensure that high-quality, properly seasoned, nutritious food is being provided throughout the operation, in a safe manner. Works cooperatively as a valued member of the dining services team, assisting with any aspect of the dining services program necessary.

Core Responsibilities:

• Prepares food items according to established recipes and menus in a manner in which preserves food freshness, quality and appeal.
• Utilizes safe food handling techniques at all times.
• Stores food items according to established standards of practice; utilize proper labeling and dating.
• Maintains a safe, tidy and well-organized work environment at all times; cleans up spills quickly, wears protective gear as needed (i.e. slicer glove), and stores wares safely.
• Supports other kitchen employees in assuring that the essential functions of the kitchen are performed adequately and appropriately.
• Puts away/Pulls stock as needed.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of 1 year food service experience preferred
