- Assist dentist with chairside clinical procedures (scaling, polishing, retraction, suctioning, instrument passing)
- Prepare operatories and sterilize instruments following CDC and California infection control protocols
- Take and develop intraoral and extraoral X-rays using digital equipment
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care; support anxiety management
- Manage patient intake, scheduling, and basic front-desk support as needed
- Maintain accurate clinical and treatment records
- Support community health initiatives and patient relationship building
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) credential
- 1+ years of experience in a general dentistry practice
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid California Dental Assistant license or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire
- Strong interpersonal skills and genuine commitment to patient comfort and care
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment and adapt to procedural changes
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
