Ink Technician (3rd Shift)

Souderton, PA

Hourly Rate based on experience (plus $1 differential for 3rd Shift)

3rd Shift 11pm-7am 

Responsibilities: 

Ink Techniciansplay a critical role in press efficiency, product quality, and workplacesafety. This position supports production by managing inks, adhesives,solvents, and hazardous materials while ensuring accurate color matching andtimely delivery to the presses.

This role is ideal for a detail orientedtechnician who enjoys hands on work, takes pride in quality and safety, andwants to grow within a manufacturing environment.


  • Prepare color pulls and support press approvals to reduce waste and improve efficiency
  • Stage, deliver, mix, and return inks and adhesives to support press operations
  • Receive, unload, store, and document ink, chemical, solvent, and adhesive deliveries
  • Manage hazardous waste shipments and maintain satellite accumulation areas in compliance with regulations and Fres-co policies
  • Mix inks and adhesives, open and close drums, weigh materials, and complete required documentation
  • Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records
  • Maintain housekeeping standards in ink and solvent areas to prevent accidents and spills
  • Operate forklifts and hand trucks to safely move materials
  • Cross train in other departments as needed to support production
  • Train new hires and support ongoing training of team members
  • Report food safety, quality, and safety issues to appropriate personnel
  • Perform other duties as assigned



Requirements

  • Prior ink room, printing, or manufacturing experience preferred
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and support production teams
  • Good attention to detail with required color discrimination and color matching skills
  • Basic computer skills for inventory and documentation
  • Ability to follow standard work procedures and safety processes
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
  • Ability to stand, sit, bend, and stoop throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift and pull at least 50 pounds and move heavier loads using hand trucks or material handling equipment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
