• Troubleshoot and repair injection molding and high speed automated assembly equipment
• Support machine changeovers and setup activities as needed
• Perform breakdown and emergency repairs to restore production quickly and safely
• Execute Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) tasks, inspections, and routine preventive maintenance
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all safety, SQF, GMP, and plant policies
• Support food safety and quality standards through proper maintenance practices
• Report safety concerns, near misses, and equipment risks promptly
• Work closely with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and Operations to meet uptime and quality targets
• Participate in Lean, CI, and reliability improvement projects as schedule allows
• Enter and track maintenance work orders and equipment history in the CMMS
• Assist in maintaining spare parts inventory for production equipment
• Support molding operations as workload and schedule require
• Provide shift coverage, including nights, weekends, and emergency call ins when needed
• Support training and knowledge sharing with new and existing team members
• Perform other maintenance related duties as assigned
Requirements
• 2+ years of injection molding maintenance experience, including hot runner systems
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience
• Experience with high speed automated manufacturing equipment
• Experience installing and setting up high cavity injection molds (100–500 ton presses)
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
• Basic computer skills and experience using maintenance systems
• Self motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Experience with advanced hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
• Experience with automation, conveyors, box loading/counting equipment, and PLCs
• Six Sigma or Lean experience or certification
• Bi axial blow molding or similar manufacturing background
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 75 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and work in industrial environments for extended periods
