We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager to driverevenue growth through new business development and expansion of existingcustomer accounts. This role will manage the full sales cycle, developrelationships with engineering, quality, purchasing, and supply-chainorganizations, and identify new opportunities that align with the company’smanufacturing capabilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop new business by identifying prospects,contacting decision-makers, following up consistently, and using networking,industry events, referrals, market research, and competitive analysis
  • Grow existing accounts by identifying new productopportunities, expansion opportunities, and ways to increase revenue
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including customercalls, prospect qualification, quotations, negotiations, pricing, and closing
  • Build and maintain strong relationships withcustomer engineering, quality, purchasing, and supply-chain organizations
  • Coordinate with internal engineering, project management, materials, and otherteams to support customer projects, address technical requirements, monitorproject status, and resolve issues
  • Review customer inquiries involving materials,specifications, drawings, tolerances, quotations, and other projectrequirements
  • Gather target pricing and competitive informationand work with internal teams to develop effective quotation strategies
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, CRM pipelineinformation, customer communications, and sales activity records
  • Prepare required sales reports, weekly activityupdates, itineraries, expense and mileage reports, and manage travel expenseswithin budget
  • Stay current on company capabilities and newproducts or processes and communicate relevant capabilities to customers andprospects
  • Travel to customer locations (30-50% of the time) andmaintain a valid driver's license and required vehicle insurance
  • Perform other relatedresponsibilities as assigned

Requirements

  • Education– Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • B2BSales – 6-8 years; demonstrated success managing the salesprocess and developing new business; experience growing existing accounts andestablishing long-term customer relationships
  • IndustryExperience – Sales experience within a manufacturingenvironment; knowledge of manufacturing products, processes, materials, andrelated applications; Engineering experience is a plus; ability to understandand discuss technical requirements, specifications, drawings, tolerances, andcustomer applications
  • BusinessDevelopment – Proven prospecting and new-account developmentskills; strong sales, listening, questioning, and relationship-buildingabilities; ability to identify opportunities and determine whether prospectivecustomers are a strong fit for company capabilities; experience with customernegotiations, quotations, pricing, and competitive analysis
  • Project& Customer Management – Effective project managementand organizational skills; ability to coordinate effectively with engineering,project management, materials, and other internal teams; strong problem-solvingand decision-making abilities; ability to manage multiple customeropportunities and priorities simultaneously
  • Technology& Reporting – Proficient with computers, email, internetresearch, word processing, spreadsheets, CRM systems, and other businesssoftware; ability to maintain accurate CRM records, sales pipelines, forecasts,and activity reports
