Job Details: Job Location: Comfort Inn and Suites - South Burlington, VT, Salary Range: $18.00 - $20.00Hourly, Job Purpose:- The Guest Service Representative is responsible for delivering exceptional service to guests, ensuring their satisfaction and comfort during their stay. This full-time position requires a professional demeanor and a commitment to providing a welcoming and efficient experience for all guests.Key Responsibilities:- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, offering assistance and information as needed.- Handle guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently and accurately.- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.- Maintain a thorough knowledge of hotel facilities, services, and local attractions to assist guests effectively.- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are clean and well-maintained.- Process payments and manage billing inquiries with accuracy and attention to detail.- Uphold hotel policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.- Assist in managing reservations and room assignments to optimize occupancy and guest satisfaction.- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance service skills and knowledge.Qualifications: Preferred Experience:- Experience in a customer service or guest relations.- Experience working in a hospitality or hotel environment.Required Skills and Abilities:- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests and team members.- Proficiency in using computer systems and software related to guest services.- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
