House Person - Full Time

Job Details: Job Location: Holiday Inn Express - South Burlington, VT, Salary Range: $17.00 - $19.00Hourly, Job Purpose:- The House Person is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and overall appearance of the hotel premises. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining a welcoming environment for guests by supporting housekeeping operations and attending to various tasks that contribute to the hotel's high standards of service.Key Responsibilities:- Assist the housekeeping team in maintaining the cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas.- Ensure all common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms are clean, tidy, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.- Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries, providing exceptional customer service at all times.- Perform routine inspections of the premises to identify areas requiring attention or maintenance.- Assist with the setup and breakdown of event spaces as needed, ensuring they are prepared to meet guest expectations.- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and address any issues that may arise.- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are available and in good condition.- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe environment for guests and staff.Qualifications: Required Education:- High school diploma or equivalent.Required Experience:- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.- Experience in housekeeping or janitorial services is advantageous.Required Skills and Abilities:- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage time efficiently.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.- Ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
