Pre Install Technician

Beacon CDL is a leading supplier and installer of commercial doors, frames, and hardware, proudly serving the Salt Lake City area since 1966. We are seeking a hardworking, detail-oriented, and dependable Install Technician join our pre-install team.

This role plays an important part in representing our company. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work and delivers high-quality finished installations. Experience with woodwork, metalwork, or hardware is a plus.

Schedule

Full Time, Monday - Thursday 7a-5p, Friday 8a-12p

Objective

Install commercial doors and hardware to ensure a clean, safe, and fully functional finished product. 

Responsibilities

• Install doors and hardware according to project specifications 
• Travel to job sites as needed
• Load and handle materials safely
• Troubleshoot and solve problems to complete installations
• Work closely with sales staff to ensure project accuracy and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Comfortable working with hand and power tools (wood and metal)
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Experience in the door and hardware industry a plus!
