Hose Shop Operator

Description

Position Summary: 

This position is tasked with fabricating and testing hose assemblies as indicated on production orders.

Key Job Responsibilities:

1. Measure and cut hoses per work order instructions
2. Mold labels onto silicone hose per work instructions
3. Fabricate and test hose assemblies
4. Tag, clean, assemble and package hose assemblies
5. Use calipers to verify crimp diameters
6. Work in a cleanroom environment, when necessary
7. Enter production information into ERP system as required 
8. Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work orders and work instructions, as well as operating and procedure manuals

Requirements

Education, Skills and Experience Requirements:

1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
2. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with team members
3. Basic computer knowledge and skills required
4. Ability to use tape measures and calipers
5. Basic math skills required, specifically in the areas of addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals
6. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
