Position Purpose
Join our compassionate team at St. Joseph of the Pines, where your dedication ensures our community remains clean, safe, and comfortable. As a Housekeeper, you will perform daily environmental services tasks, adhering to federal, state, and local standards, while embodying our Mission, Vision, and Values.

What You Will Do

  • Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety across assigned areas, ensuring infection control and universal precautions.

  • Perform daily tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, polishing, and deep cleaning.

  • Report and address maintenance needs such as light bulb replacements and equipment malfunctions.

  • Collaborate with residents and staff to create a warm, calm, and welcoming environment.

  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and maintain safety standards.

  • Uphold resident rights, including confidentiality, personal space, and property.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Experience in long-term care or working with geriatric populations preferred.

  • Exceptional customer service, communication, and professionalism.

  • Must possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills. 

  • Adaptability to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

  • Strong organizational, decision-making, and accountability skills.

  • Effective interpersonal skills to collaborate with teams and support residents’ needs.

  • Self-motivated and capable of planning and implementing organizational goals.
