Outdoor Living Supply is hiring a Part-Time Seasonal Customer Counter Sales  and Yard Associate for our Spanish Springs, NV location. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys both customer interaction and hands-on work. In this hybrid position, you'll assist customers inside the store, operate forklifts and equipment in the yard, coordinate deliveries, and help keep our operation running smoothly.

What You'll Do

As our Customer Counter Sales  and Yard Associate, you'll be the first person customers interact with. You'll provide exceptional service while helping customers find products, processing transactions, and supporting daily store operations.

Responsibilities include:

• Customer Service & Sales

  • Welcome customers and provide exceptional service
  • Answer product questions and recommend solutions
  • Prepare quotes and sales orders
  • Process cash, credit card and account transactions
  • Build long-term relationships with contractors and homeowners
  • Follow up with existing customers and generate new business

• Yard & Warehouse Operations

  • Safely operate forklifts, loaders and other material handling equipment
  • Load customer vehicles accurately and efficiently
  • Organize inventory throughout the yard and warehouse
  • Receive and inspect incoming materials
  • Assist with inventory counts and replenishment
  • Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment

• Operations Support

  • Coordinate deliveries with drivers and customers
  • Process returns and special orders
  • Follow company safety procedures and PPE requirements
  • Support other store operations as needed

What We're Looking For

Preferred Qualifications:

• Customer service, retail, cashier, or counter sales experience
• Forklift or heavy equipment experience (or willingness to learn)
• Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling cash
• Basic computer skills
• Comfortable learning new computer systems
• Basic math skills
• Ability to build relationships with customers
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Spanish bilingual skills are a plus
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Experience in landscaping, construction, masonry, building materials or hardscape products is a plus

Work Environment

This role combines indoor customer service with outdoor work in our landscape supply yard. You'll assist customers both inside the store and outside while enjoying an active workday in a team-oriented environment.
