CAD Drafter

Viridian Staffing's Client is looking for CAD Drafterto create technical drawings and detailed designs onsite for an equipmentmanufacturing company based out of the Spokane, Washington, area. This positionis based in Spokane, Washington, and in office attendance is required.

You will use yourcritical thinking and problem solving skills to calculate material andequipment requirements and set up projection methods after gathering drawingsand specs. You will have the opportunity to help in the design of new products,create standard models, and edit changes based on recommendations fromcustomers and/or management. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Solidworks,you will be responsible for the creation and monitorization of products. Usingyour excellent written communication skills, you'll be creating SOP's for thebuilding/maintaining of equipment, manuals, and providing summaries of resolvedtechnical issues. You will research and evaluate materials, assemblies,processes, and equipment, while identifying and communicating potential designproblems to stakeholders.  

Ideally, you bringwith you a Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, architecture, or similardegree.  You have proven work experienceas a Drafter and have finely tuned your critical thinking and problem-solvingabilities allowing you to develop creative solutions. Solidworks experience isrequired, and you are able to work equally well alone or in a teamenvironment. 

Compensation:  $27-$29/hour
