Job Description

Perform a variety of accounting and clerical support functions to support fiscal and operational teams. Process nutrition and miscellaneous deposits. Assist in the preparation of invoices for non-patient customers in Workday. Assist finance leadership with monthly accounting close including reconciliations and journal entries.   Perform other fiscal and clerical functions as assigned. Shriners Spokane is looking for a PRN Fiscal Services Specialist to join the team!

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of accounting and clerical support functions.

• Assist DFS with month-end and year-end general ledger close.

• Processes miscellaneous cash receipt deposits in an accurate and timely manner.

• Maintains current and accessible files of legal documents and communications as required to SHC-legal.

• Reconciles deposit information to source documents.

• Assist with preparing invoices for non-patient customers.

• Assist with reconciliations of general ledger activity on monthly basis.

• Run reports out of Workday on financial transactions.

Required Qualifications:

• 5 years Clerical Support

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting

• 5+ years accounting in hospital or not-for-profit setting

The pay range for this position is $24.50-$36.76/hourly
