Apprenticeship - Maintenance- Entry Level Role

Scot Forge is a premier manufacturer with locations in Spring Grove, IL, Clinton, WI and Franklin Park, IL.  We manufacture large scale metal forgings. 

We provide classroom education combined with a hands-on experience with a focus on –

• Hydraulics and Pneumatics
• Electrical and Program Logic Controls (PLC)
• Blueprint reading and drawings
• Math skills including algebra and geometry
• Understanding of industrial safety practices

 QUALIFICATIONS:

• 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED
• Experience with mechanical repair
• Experience with troubleshooting
• Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical
• Mechanically inclined 
• Strong organization, attention to detail and professionalism
• Desire to work hard and willing to learn
• Ability to perform frequent lifting to 65 lbs
