Duties and Responsibilities: Assists the receptionists in verifying insurances and charging self-pay patients. Scrub Claims, and all other related to billing department tasks. Always maintains confidentiality of patient information. Complies with applicable policies and procedures and supports the Compliance Program. Contributes to organizational operations by performing other duties as may be required. QualificationsJob Requirements: High School Diploma (preferred). Adherence to laws and confidentiality guidelines. Proven experience as a billing clerk or general accounting experience (preferred). Excellent communication skills. Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel); Working knowledge of relevant software will be appreciated. Ability to establish and maintain courteous and professional relationships with staff, patients and others. Working Conditions and Physical Efforts: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist.
