Job Description:

Parts Express is seeking energetic, detail-oriented, and hardworking Warehouse Team Members who are passionate about providing the customer with a top-notch buying experience, from start to finish! In this position, you will be responsible for performing a variety of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, and managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse. 

 
 

** Monday-Friday**(with only an occasional weekend -- the exception, not the rule!)

Essential Functions

  • Assists  with unloading trucks and taking inventory of products
  • Fulfills customer orders by picking products, packing boxes, and placing orders in delivery areas
  • Sorts and place products on racks, shelves, or in bins according to organizational standards
  • Enforces inventory control by collecting stock location orders and printing requests
  • Provide quality service by following organizational standards
  • Preserves a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations neat
  • Promotes clean shipping supply area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Working conditions

  • The worker is subject to hazards: Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, and moving vehicles.
  • This position works in a warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday.
  • This role routinely uses warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, box cutters and tape dispensers, scanner guns, and computers.

Physical requirements Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for at least 8 hours per day.

  • The worker will be subject to lifting, stacking, pulling, and pushing.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted, and up to 120 lbs, assisted.
  • The worker is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned or to make general observations of facilities or structures; As well to operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
  • Willing and eligible to obtain forklift certification
  • Valid Driver’s License
