This position is part of the Inventory and Property Optimization (IPO) team and serves as a field-facing resource focused on improving the consistency, accuracy, and usability of asset, maintenance, and inventory data. The role supports better capital prioritization, maintenance spend control, and visibility into MRO consumption by strengthening the data and systems Operations and Finance rely on. Through collaboration with plant teams and cross-functional partners, this position helps reduce rework, improve forecast accuracy, and drive adoption of sustainable data management practices.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

As a member of the Field Enablement team, this role serves as a key operational support resource for plant locations across the enterprise, providing both virtual and on-site assistance to business users. Responsibilities include delivering end-user training, supporting system implementations, documenting and improving business processes, and developing training materials to drive adoption and operational excellence. The position supports system testing, maintains technical documentation and knowledge resources, and analyzes data to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data-related issues. Additional duties include maintaining asset, property, project, contract, and change-order records; investigating data variances and preparing management reports; compiling information and analyses for internal and external stakeholders; supporting data integration across multiple systems; and providing technical guidance on process and system management. The role partners closely with analysts and business users to translate functional requirements into technical solutions and designs, develops, and supports enterprise reporting and analytics tools that enable effective management of industrial assets and operational data.


Requirements:

Education/Certifications: Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Experience: 3+ years’ experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills: Above-standard computer skills. Practical experience with one or more SAP modules including but not limited to PM, MM, PS, or FICO a must. Background in data mining, along with the ability to understand various data structures and common data-transformation methods in applications such as Excel, Access, etc., is a plus. Excellent pattern recognition and predictive modeling skills. Must be willing to keep up to date with the latest technology trends and adapt to new software as required.

Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills required, including the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners and leaders.   Above-average verbal and written business communication skills are required.  Experience with documentation and technical writing is a plus.

Special Skills: Ability to coordinate with Plant-based management and corporate support teams, requiring strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.  Must be self-driven and motivated, willing to learn, able to listen, have a good phone presence, work well under pressure, meet hard deadlines, and have strong problem-solving skills.
