Future teaching assignments are on a term-by-term basis, which may include fall, spring, and summer. Postings close yearly and to maintain your application within the system, you will need to re-apply each year.

Essential Duties:

  • Apply design principles across various media and projects
  • Create and edit digital photography assets
  • Develop and design websites
  • Produce 3D animations for visual communication
  • Plan, produce, and edit video content
  • Design page layouts for print and digital formats
  • Develop logos and corporate identities
  • Design and refine user experiences (UX) and user interfaces (UI)
  • Utilize Adobe Creative Suite software products to complete design tasks

Rate of pay: $875 per credit hour

This is a 100% in person position, No remote options.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field is required.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Graphic Design or related field is preferred.
  • Instructional experience at a community college or other post-secondary institution is preferred

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Thorough knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software
  • Demonstrated teaching ability is the top priority
  • Ability to use an on-line platform (such as Canvas or Blackboard), online delivery of instruction, use of technology for instruction, and experience or interest in project-based, service learning, or inquiry-based learning will be given special consideration
