Personal Care Aide

Autumn House East is a personal care facility located in East York, PA. We pride ourselves on the care, compassion, dignity, and safety of our residents and employees. We are experiencing rapid growth and looking to expand our team. 

We are seeking personal care assistants (PCA)to be part of enriching the daily lives of our residents. The fulfilment and satisfaction that comes with helping others surpasses the challenges of this position. If you’re a compassionate, and positive person who loves working with the elderly, then this is a job for you! Previous experience in personal care for the elderly is a plus but we are willing to train the right candidate!

Our personal care assistants are responsible for assisting residents with showering, bathing, dressing, incontinence care, oral care, laundry and transportation to/from the dining room.

Available shift times include

• Weekend option 7am-7pm/ 7pm-7am
• Weekend option Friday, Saturday, Sunday Monday (8-hour shift)
• 1st and 2nd shift available
• Part-time and Full-time positions available

The starting pay rate for this position is $16.00 per hour

This job could lead to a Certified Med Tech position for interested candidates.

Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience as personal care assistant is preferred
• Committed to health & safety
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Positive and compassionate attitude
• High school diploma or equivalent is required by law
