Job DetailsJob Location: Plant - York, PA 17402Salary Range: $21.00 - $22.05 HourlySummary of position The Quality Control Technician is responsible for ensuring that the organization’s Quality Management System policies, procedures, forms, and instructions are followed.  This position will be directly responsible for ensuring that product quality is maintained and regulatory requirements are followed.  This position will also be responsible for safety and for documenting any incidents as required by company, federal, state, and local regulations. Duties & Responsibilities Ensure the organization’s procedures, forms, instructions, and policies are followed by all staff Inspect and document incoming production components, including tubes, bottles, film, and syringe components Conduct in-process testing during manufacturing, including fill volume, seal integrity, labeling, and visual inspections. Conduct release testing of finished goods and sourced finished goods by following written procedures Collect samples for outsourced testing Print, review and approve labels for production Initiate nonconformances when product defects are found or deviations occur Ensure all GMPs are followed Perform facility inspections and maintain quality department equipment Promote an environment of quality first mindset Qualities Attention to detail Dependable and timely to work Energetic team player with a pleasant demeanor Constant pursuit of quality Flexible with the ups and downs of manufacturing Able to work in teams and interact positively with staff Clear understanding of the impacts of quality control Understanding of OSHA and manufacturing safety Competent in MS Office products and computers Strong communication skills Able to lift up to 50lbs   QualificationsQualifications High School Diploma required Understanding of regulated industry and GMPs (FDA, ISO:13485, MDSAP) preferred
