Job Description:

The Radiology Multi-Care Tech is primarily responsible for assisting in preparing the patient for interventional procedures as well as participating in their post procedure care. The MCT works under the direct supervision of the RN. Knowledge of the wide variety of procedures performed, effective communication, and high awareness of the department’s schedule is important to success in this position.Education: ▪ Required: High school diploma or equivalentExperience: ▪ Preferred: A minimum of 1 year hospital or clinic experienceSkills: ▪ Must be able to work in all areas of the department, including MRI. ▪ Excellent verbal and written communication skills ▪ Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills ▪ Strong interpersonal and critical-thinking skills ▪ Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams ▪ Self-starter and flexible with work scheduleLicensure/Certification/Registration: ▪ N/A
