As a Security Officer - Full Time - Night Desk Services in Springfield, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact for visitors, employees, and vendors. You will manage access, monitor entry activity, communicate professionally, and help address security-related concerns. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors at a front desk location within a technology, media, and telecommunications environment.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and access-related records in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Monitor entry points, access-control systems, cameras, communications, and/or alarm notifications, and report unusual activity or concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following site-specific policies and emergency response procedures.
• Answer incoming calls, provide directions and general assistance, and communicate professionally with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
