Job Details: Job Location: Tomlinson Center 2nd Floor (Emergency Services) - Saint Albans, VT, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $25.00 - $27.00Hourly, Northwestern Counseling & Support Services is seeking a compassionate and skilled Enhanced Mobile Crisis Responder to join our 24-hour Emergency Services team.In this role, you’ll bring mental health crisis support directly into the community, providing assessment, intervention, stabilization, referrals, and follow-up to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis. Working as part of a collaborative mobile response team, you’ll help people access the right level of care while supporting stabilization in the community whenever clinically appropriate.Key Responsibilities Provide mobile mental health crisis assessment, intervention, stabilization, and follow-up. Respond collaboratively with team members, law enforcement, healthcare providers, and community partners. Connect individuals with appropriate treatment, resources, and ongoing supports. Coordinate inpatient psychiatric care when clinically necessary. Promote safe, person-centered alternatives to hospitalization whenever appropriate.Qualifications Experience in crisis intervention, mental health, or behavioral health services. Strong assessment, communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. Ability to respond effectively in complex and rapidly changing situations.
