Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Control Security Clearance in Saint Augustine, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Access Control Officer supporting a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and maintain a visible presence that helps deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support a secure environment for critical operations. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific access-control policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Monitor and control access to facilities, restricted areas, and sensitive workspaces by verifying credentials, authorizations, and visitor documentation in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain accurate access-control logs, issue and recover visitor credentials as authorized, and promptly report discrepancies or unauthorized access attempts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
