What You’ll Do

As a Delivery Driver St Paul, you’ll begin each shift at the delivery station, where you’ll prepare your assigned vehicle, organize your packages, and get everything ready for the day’s route.

After your van is loaded, you’ll follow an assigned delivery route throughout St. Paul and nearby communities. Using a company-provided Amazon DSP delivery vehicle, you’ll deliver packages to residential neighborhoods, apartment buildings, businesses, and other customer locations.

Much of your workday will be spent independently on the road, traveling between stops and completing scheduled deliveries. This is an active position that also involves walking, carrying packages, and frequently getting in and out of your delivery vehicle.

Although you’ll manage your route independently, our dispatch and operations team remains available throughout your shift to provide assistance whenever necessary.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company-provided Amazon DSP delivery van.

• Use Amazon’s delivery app and GPS navigation to locate and complete delivery stops.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety requirements, and company procedures.

• Lift, carry, and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Frequently enter and exit the delivery vehicle throughout the workday.
• Handle customer packages carefully and complete deliveries accurately.

• Contact the operations team whenever route or delivery assistance is required.
• Complete assigned deliveries safely, accurately, and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Safe driving history.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must successfully complete required background checks and pre-employment screenings.
• Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable with an active position involving walking, lifting, carrying, and frequent vehicle entry and exit.
• Able to work outdoors in varying Minnesota weather conditions.
• Capable of working independently and managing an assigned delivery route.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Professional and positive attitude.
• Previous delivery or professional driving experience is helpful but not required.
