OVERVIEW

JOB TITLE: LPA Student Ice CrewLOCATION: Lee and Penny Anderson Arena

PAY RATE: $16.50/hour

HOURS: Hockey Games

JOB SUMMARY:

Student Ice Crew Members play an important role in creating a great game-day experience by helping maintain excellent ice conditions throughout hockey games. Crew members will shovel snow from the ice surface during media timeouts, intermissions, and other designated breaks in play.

QUALIFICATIONS

Transferablle Skills

• Ice skating ability required
• Current University of St. Thomas student preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Comfortable working in a cold arena environment.
• Ability to skate and walk on ice and perform moderate physical activity during games.
• Hockey knowledge is beneficial but not required.

ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible for student employment, St. Thomas students must be degree seeking at the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels.
