Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and assist in HVAC system setups including mini-splits, RTUs, split/package systems, and heavy commercial/industrial units
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and system specifications
- Perform brazing, soldering, and ductwork installation
- Operate tools and equipment safely; understand LOTO procedures
- Collaborate with team members and communicate with clients professionally
- Document work performed using internal systems (e.g., BuildOps, Paylocity)
- Follow all OSHA, EPA, and company safety protocols
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to HVAC controls, voltage systems, and airflow
- Maintain cleanliness and organization on job sites
Key Skills:
- Required (L1–L2):
- Basic HVAC knowledge and mechanical aptitude
- Strong work ethic and desire to learn
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various conditions
- Basic understanding of tools and HVAC safety
- OSHA 10, EPA 608 (Core/Type I) preferred
Preferred (L3–L4):
- 3+ years experience in commercial or industrial HVAC installs
- Proficiency with high voltage systems, evacuation procedures, VRF systems
- Ability to mentor junior techs and manage installation timelines
Certifications: OSHA 30, EPA Universal, VRF System Training, Boiler/Chiller Systems, BMSÂ
