The Leisure Travel Advisor will be responsible for providing the successful completion of leisure travel sales by building a clientele of new and existing business.

Responsibilities

Build client base through Virtuoso marketing, local events and personal networking   
Sell Direct Travel strategic supplier products   
Plan itineraries, book tickets and arrange travel accommodations and services   
Research and provide solutions to client travel-related problems   
Provide excellent customer services to internal and external clients   
Continued education via Virtuoso Travel Academy, internal programs, and travel

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years leisure industry experience.
3+ years GDS (Apollo or Sabre) experience.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business education preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software
Demonstrated professional customer service skills
Ability to work nights and weekends when needed
Capability of maintaining a favorable company image when interfacing with outside sources
Proven pursuit of learning and self-development
Ability to demonstrate personal and organizational integrity
Capability of working in a team environment supporting management and staff, following policies, providing feedback, assisting in special projects, and taking on additional responsibility
Effective oral and written communications skills
Organizational skills that result in high productivity
