From womb to tomb, Lakewood Health System provides compassionate, quality care for the Brainerd Lakes region and beyond. About the Unit/Department/TeamThe CI department works closely with clinical and operational teams to optimize the electronic health record to streamline workflows and support high-quality patient care across the system.Mission for PositionThe RN Clinical informaticist bridges clinical practice and technology by optimizing health information systems, supporting end users, and driving improvements that enhance patient care and operational efficiency.Duties & Responsibilities  Work closely with providers, nursing, and all other users of the clinical information system. Provide education, support, and troubleshooting when necessary, and collaborates to develop strategies and best practice. Coordinate and/or participate in end-user and project team efforts in the design, implementation, and evaluation of training projects. Participate in Performance Improvement initiatives as it relates to practice and information systems. Use knowledge to improve clinical processes, and optimize clinical systems to meet values, vision, and mission of the organization. Position Type This is a full-time position, working mostly on-site 80 hours every two weeks Monday through Friday.Qualifications: Qualifications Current unrestricted MN RN Licensure Minimum 2 years of direct clinical practice experience Previous experience in clinical informatics preferred Demonstrated team leading and teaching experience preferred Must possess astute communication skills Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously Ideal Candidate  Is interested in setting and attaining goals Comfortable being a point of contact within a company Enjoys integrating new and efficient systems that support the advancement of the organization as a wholeBenefitsLakewood Health System is growing and looking for great people to join our mission of providing personalized, quality healthcare for a lifetime.
