SURVEILLANCE OPERATOR

Happy Valley Casino, located inside The Nittany Mall, has brought the region's first-ever gaming facility to life. Featuring over 600 slot machines, 30+ table games, cocktail service, and multiple dining venues, we're quickly becoming the premier entertainment destination in Happy Valley.

We're seeking detail-oriented, observant, and professional Surveillance Operators to join our Security and Surveillance team. In this critical role, you'll help protect company assets, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain the integrity of casino operations through advanced surveillance technology and detailed reporting.

What You'll Do

As a Surveillance Operator, you'll be responsible for monitoring casino operations and property activity through the CCTV surveillance system while identifying and documenting unusual activities, suspicious behavior, and procedural violations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor gaming, cash-handling, and property operations through the CCTV surveillance system.
• Utilize surveillance equipment to identify, observe, record, and document procedural violations, suspicious activities, and unusual events.
• Communicate observed violations and concerns promptly to appropriate supervisory personnel.
• Prepare accurate, detailed, and timely documentation regarding incidents and investigations.
• Complete written reports and supplemental documentation as required.
• Conduct video reviews and surveillance investigations as assigned by management.
• Monitor the performance and functionality of surveillance equipment and document equipment malfunctions or operational concerns.
• Ensure compliance with all Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board regulations, company policies, and internal controls.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary information.
• Assist in protecting company assets, guests, and team members through proactive surveillance monitoring.
• Promote positive interactions and outstanding customer relations while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous casino surveillance experience preferred.
• Experience within security, surveillance, law enforcement, investigations, or related fields is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

Physical Requirements

• Vision correctable to 20/20.
• Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to remain seated and focused for extended periods, typically 6-8 hours.
• Ability to monitor multiple screens and activities simultaneously.

Additional Information

Casino employees may be required to obtain a Pennsylvania Gaming License. The cost of licensure is covered by Happy Valley Casino.
