POSITION SUMMARY
Diagnoses and provides treatment for clients/patients who exhibit communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.Â
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- Graduate of an approved Masters level program in Speech Language Pathology.
Experience:
Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a health care facility.
Demonstrated strong clinical background in Pediatric care.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Free from communication deficits which would interfere with duties.
License/Certification/Registration:
- Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) preferred.
Pennsylvania license in speech‑language pathology.
- Meets the American Heart Association’s standards for Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and renews BLS every two years.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED
Receives general supervision from the Manager of Rehabilitation Services.
SUPERVISION GIVEN
 Supervision of students in Speech-Language Pathology is a possibility along with volunteers if appropriate to the setting.
