About Siegfried

As a Senior Technician at Siegfried, you will be a vital link between design concepts and project completion. You will work under the direction of a Project Manager to produce high-quality plans and coordinate production requirements with multidisciplinary team members. Beyond your technical contributions, you will play a key role in the growth of our firm by applying your design and modeling expertise to ensure our projects are delivered efficiently and to the highest standards.

What You’ll Do

In general, the duties of this position consist of, but are not limited to, the following tasks:

• Preparation of civil engineering construction documents, for wide variety of public infrastructure and private development projects.
• Preparation of civil construction documents, for industrial and commercial structures.
• Maintain clear lines of communication regarding project status and technical constraints with management and team members.
• Aid in maintaining company templates and standards.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in the production of infrastructure construction documents including roadways, utilities, onsite improvements and related infrastructure using Civil 3D production software.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor junior staff and possess the technical skills required to evaluate their work.
• A professional who builds effective relationships at all levels, demonstrates high integrity, and coordinates well with project managers and leadership.
• Ability to maintain a minimum utilization rate of 75% while ensuring tasks are completed on time and within constraints.

Experience & Education

• Associate’s Degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent training and certifications with 5+ years of experience OR
• 10+ years of relevant experience in a technical/BIM/drafting role.
• Experience in the civil engineering or multidisciplinary design field is highly preferred.
