Carlson Building Maintenance is hiring a Floor Care Technician in Streamwood, IL. In this role, you'll operate professional floor care equipment, maintain hard floor surfaces and carpets, and help keep a large retail facility clean, safe, and ready for customers each day.

No floor care experience? We can train the right candidate.

Location: Streamwood, IL

Pay: $15.00 per hour

• Weekly Pay Every Friday

Schedule

• 6:00 AM - 11:25 AM
• Approximately 32 Hours Per Week
• Consistent Schedule
• Friday Off Every Week
• Weekend Availability Required
• Early Morning Hours Leave the Rest of Your Day Free

What You'll Do

• Operate floor scrubbers, buffers, extractors, and other floor care equipment
• Maintain hard floor surfaces through scrubbing, buffing, stripping, and waxing
• Vacuum, shampoo, bonnet, and extract carpeted areas
• Perform general cleaning and restroom cleaning as needed
• Follow safety procedures and company cleaning standards
• Inspect equipment and report maintenance concerns
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment
• Complete assigned cleaning projects independently and efficiently

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Reliable transportation required
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
• Ability to push and pull floor care equipment
• Strong attendance and reliability
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Previous floor care, janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, commercial cleaning, or maintenance experience is helpful but not required
