Key Responsibilities:

International Expansion & Programme Management

  • Lead and manage end-to-end international expansion programmes, with a primary focus on European markets, ensuring delivery against strategic objectives, timelines, budgets, and investment plans.
  • Partner closely with senior leadership to develop and execute market entry roadmaps, covering business readiness, operating model implementation, launch execution, and post-launch stabilisation.
  • Act as the key liaison between headquarters and local market teams, ensuring alignment of priorities, effective communication, timely decision-making, and seamless execution.

Programme Governance & Execution

  • Establish and maintain robust programme governance frameworks, including project plans, milestones, deliverables, risk registers, issue resolution, and performance reporting.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional workstreams across Finance, Human Resources, Legal, Supply Chain, Procurement, Retail Operations, and other relevant internal and external stakeholders.
  • Drive business integration initiatives to ensure the effective implementation of corporate standards, policies, processes, systems, and ways of working across new markets.
  • Monitor programme progress, identify dependencies, resource constraints, and potential roadblocks, and proactively implement mitigation plans to maintain momentum and delivery.

Commercial & Strategic Analysis

  • Conduct commercial and operational analyses to support strategic decision-making around market expansion, investment priorities, operating models, and business performance.
  • Evaluate programme performance and identify opportunities to improve operational effectiveness, scalability, and overall business outcomes.
  • Develop business cases, executive presentations, programme updates, and strategic recommendations for senior management and steering committees.

Performance Management & Continuous Improvement

  • Establish and track key programme and business performance indicators to measure the success of market expansion initiatives.
  • Monitor post-launch performance and ensure agreed expansion objectives are achieved across new markets.
  • Identify lessons learned and drive continuous improvement by sharing best practices across global and local teams.
  • Champion strong programme management practices and foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and execution excellence.


Requirements

Job Requirements:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain, Law, or a related discipline.
  • 6–10 years of relevant experience in regional or international PMO, business transformation, strategy execution, business integration, management consulting, or market expansion.
  • Proven track record of managing complex, cross-border programmes or projects involving multiple functions, markets, and stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of market entry, business integration, operating model implementation, and organisational readiness.
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders and influencing decisions within a matrix or multinational organisation.
  • Experience within retail, consumer, FMCG, or other multi-site operating environments is highly preferred.
