Orthopedic Surgeon | Build a Comprehensive Elective Orthopedic Program

Sentara Obici Hospital | Suffolk, Virginia

Sentara Health, an award-winning, nationally recognized nonprofit integrated healthcare system, is seeking an orthopedic surgeon to help build and grow a comprehensive elective orthopedic program at Sentara Obici Hospital in beautiful Suffolk, Virginia.

This is an exciting opportunity for a collaborative, growth-minded surgeon to shape a high-quality orthopedic service line with strong community need, advanced practice support, and the resources of a leading healthcare organization. Orthopedic surgeons of all subspecialty backgrounds are encouraged to apply; an interest in fracture work and trauma is preferred. Fellowship training in adult reconstruction or sports medicine is a plus.

Offices are located on the campus of Sentara Obici Hospital, a well-equipped 176-bed community hospital, as well as at Sentara BelleHarbour, an ambulatory surgery center with two operating rooms and an expanded emergency department.
