QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Associates of Applied Science degree in Radiology, MRI Tech, or related field
Experience/Skills
- At least one year of MRI experience
Required Licenses/Certifications
- Indiana State Board of Health (ISBH) Licensure
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Registration
- CPR

Job Duties
- Performs MRI exams according to department protocols
- Ensures the MRI environment remains safe by screening all visitors and team members entering the MRI environment.
- Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate for patient’s age level, physical condition, mental condition, and emotional status
- Transports patients and assists others with patient transportation relative to patient acuity level
- Ensures compliance with MRI safety standards, infection control policies, and hospital policies
- Maintains MRI equipment
- Maintains a clean and organized work environment
- Rotate regular work schedule to accommodate vacations, illnesses, and weather conditions
- Recognizes duties requiring completion but not directly assigned
- Regularly helps other staff when needed
- Perform various tasks to assist the department in maintaining cohesive, efficient operation
- Perform other responsibilities and duties assigned
Department Specific Focus
- Ensures all charges are documented accurately and charged out correctly
