The Director of Contract Management will oversee the drafting, review, and negotiation of contracts with large retailers, ensuring alignment withĀ Generacās operating needs and strategic goals.Ā This role will be client-facing and will collaborate closely with Sales leadership, legal, operations teams, and executive stakeholders toĀ establishĀ ideal operating terms and then negotiate directly with our customer partners.Ā The ideal candidate will have a provenĀ track recordĀ in contract administration, operational excellence, and leadership within a complex, multi-channel sales environment.Ā
Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with largeĀ customer organizations acrossĀ Generac HomeĀ business unitsĀ
Ensure proper contract fulfillmentĀ in accordance withĀ company policies, legalĀ requirementsĀ and customer specificationsĀ by collaborating cross-functionally across the organizationĀ
EstablishĀ operational processes andĀ departmental RACI between Contracts team, ComplianceĀ teamĀ and Sales teamĀ Ā
Act as a liaison between sales and our customersĀ toĀ negotiate contractual terms and conditionsĀ
Operationalize a continuous process to check in with operational teams to ensure contractsĀ remainĀ up toĀ date with internal needsĀ
Advocate on behalf of Generac needs and standards of operationsĀ
IdentifyĀ profitability enhancement opportunities within contractual agreementsĀ and contribute to cost savings initiativesĀ
Partner with compliance teams regularly to understand complianceĀ concerns and how contract adjustments can ensure less compliance violations and finesĀ
Lead contract management improvements and initiatives including investigating and implementing automated solutions, such as CLMĀ
Compare contractual obligations across the organization toĀ identifyĀ commonĀ areasĀ while driving operational improvements in collaboration with sales channel VPsĀ and other senior leadersĀ

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelorās degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
At least 8 years of experience in contract administration, sales operations, or a similar role within a large, complex organization.
Preferred Requirements:
Experience using Salesforce CRM
Experience implementing and leveraging a CLM software
